AWIL 130 - Heath Bergersen & Andrew Thomas

Didgeridoo & Navajo flute with Heath Bergersen & Andrew Thomas on this A World in London! Click:

The Origins Festival Of First Nations is back in town for 2017, bringing art, film, and music from indigenous cultures to our city! We caught up with two of the musicians currently on tour – Andrew Thomas from the Navajo community in New Mexico, and Heath Bergersen from Aboriginal Australia. At a time when London has been shaken yet again, by a people-filled building that should not have burnt - #GrenfellTower - we’re in much need of humanity and healing. Andrew’s Native American flute brings soothing serenity whilst Heath’s didgeridoo reconnects us with the gut of Mother Earth, reassuringly placing us on solid groud.. Their philosophy urges us to strive for peace not profit, so listen in by clicking the link, and see these Andrew and Heath on stage at Rich Mix Friday June 16th! Catch more events lined up by Border Crossings in this year’s Origins Festival across London till June 25th!
